Beach Town Pops is hiring Onsite Event Managers for upcoming events! Position Type: Contract (per event)

We are looking for individuals who communicate clearly, take initiative, and are comfortable representing luxury brands in client-facing environments
We’re an experiential hospitality company specializing in white label frozen treats at large-scale brand activations.
Clients we have represented include SnapChat, Lemme and activations at Coachella.
The Onsite Event Manager serves as the lead representative for Beach Town Pops at the event.
This role goes beyond simply “scooping ice cream.” We are looking for individuals who understand event management, work independently, anticipate event needs, move quickly in a fast-paced environment, independently problem-solve in real time, communicate professionally with onsite contacts and vendors, and represent our clients brand with confidence.
Responsibilities include transporting the collapsible cart and event materials from our North Redondo location, overseeing setup, serving frozen treats to guests, and ensuring the activation runs smoothly from start to finish.
You will often be the primary point of contact onsite, helping ensure a seamless guest experience.
Candidates must be comfortable lifting moderately heavy items and have reliable transportation. Our cart is collapsible and fits in most 4-door vehicles.
All items are pre-paid by the client, so your focus onsite is executing a smooth activation rather than handling transactions. When product runs out, you may be able to wrap early depending on client approval.
Compensation is provided as a flat rate per event and includes gas allowance.
Dates Available:
1. Saturday, April 3rd & 4th @ Burbank 🏖️
Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 10 AM sharp to pick up equipment.
Serve time: 12-2pm (or whenever pops run out)
Pay $200
2. Friday April 10th and Saturday April 11th @ Indio (local Indio hire) 🏖️
Serve time: 12-7pm ( 1 hour break)
Pay $ 230
**3. Friday April 10th and Saturday April 11th @ Indio (LA hire) 🏖️
Arrive North Redondo very early time TBA
Drive our van to Indio with server #2 (you don’t have to pay for gas)
Set up for event, moderate lifting required. Serve time: 12-7pm (2x 30 min break)
Drive van back to Redondo
VIP event, need to sign an NDA, no cell phones permitted on site. Professionalism required, no fangirling.
Head back to LA very early Sunday morning.
Pay $240 Day 1, $240 Day 2 + $195 completion bonus + 2 overnight hotels + gas.
Total = $675
3. Wed April 15th @ Culver City 🏖️
Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 11:30 AM sharp to pick up equipment.
Serve time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Pay $ 275
4. Friday April 17th @ Costa Mesa 🏖️
Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 5:15:PM sharp to pick up equipment.
Serve time: 8-10pm
Pay $200
5. Saturday April 18th @ Houdini Estate WeHo 🏖️
Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 5:30:PM sharp to pick up equipment.
Serve time: 8-10pm
Pay $200
6. Sunday April 19th @ Houdini Estate WeHo 🏖️ (again)
Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 5:30:PM sharp to pick up equipment.
Serve time: 8-10pm

Arrival at Facility: Arrive at our North Redondo facility at 8:30am sharp to pick up equipment. (You’ll drive the BTP van there and back with another server)
Serve time: 12-8pm (or whenever pops run out)
Drive back that night or return equipment the following day. Must be comfortable lifting moderately heavy equipment.
Pay = $400

Additional Information:
Payment is issued via Zelle after equipment is returned, processing takes 5 business days of invoice submission.
This is a contract role. For assignments exceeding $600 total compensation, a W-9 is required and payment is processed through ADP payroll (check or direct deposit).
A valid ID & copy of active car insurance card is required for onboarding.
Flat rate compensation includes tips, gas allowance, and tolls. Beach Town Pops is not responsible for parking violations or additional expenses.
